Argentine tenor Ruben Peloni started his vocal studies while still an Architecture student and it wasn’t long until he joined the world of tango. He pursued his vocal training at Pergolesi Conservatory in Jesi (Italy), and while there he joined ‘El esquinazo’, a tango and milonga quartet, with which he performed widely both in Italy and abroad. He has since been collaborating with many of the leading tango ensembles and personalities on the international arena, including, to name but a few, Marcelo Nisinman, Juanjo Mosalini, Dario Polonara, Hugo Aisemberg or Luis Bacalov. He has appeared as a soloist with the Savoie Orchestra (France) and he performs on a regular basis such works as Ariel Ramirez’s ‘Misa Criolla’ and Piazzolla’s ‘Maria de Buenos Aires’. His discography numbers a dozen releases and is entirely devoted to tango.
