Pascal Moragu\u00e8s is one of the leading clarinetists of our time.\nAs a 1st Principal Solo Clarinet in Orchestre de Paris since 1981, Pascal Moragu\u00e8s is also Professor at the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique de Paris, the Haute \u00c9cole de Musique de Lausanne and the Escuela Superior de M\u00fasica Reina Sof\u00eda de Madrid.\nThroughout his career a soloist, he has played under Daniel Barenboim (who invited him at the age of 18 to become Principal Solo Clarinet in the Orchestre de Paris), Pierre Boulez, Semyon Bychkov, Carlo-Maria Giulini, Zubin Mehta, Emmanuel Krivine, Franz Br\u00fcggen, Louis Langr\u00e9e and Stephan Sanderling.\nPascal Moragu\u00e8s is a member of Quintette Moragu\u00e8s, Mullova Ensemble, Katia and Marielle Lab\u00e8que Ensemble, and is often invited as Solo Clarinet by the European Chamber Orchestra. \nHis chamber music partners include Sviatoslav Richter, Christian Zacharias, Daniel Barenboim, Elena Bashkirova, Christoph Eschenbach, Pascal Rog\u00e9, Christian Ivaldi, Brigitte Engerer, Itamar Golan, Stephen Bishop, Oleg Maisenberg, Joseph Kalichstein, Schlomo Mintz, Joshua Bell, Yuri Bashmet, Gary Hoffman, Nathalia Gutmann and Felicity Lott; trio Guarneri, the string quartets Borodin, Sine Nomine, Carmina, Amati, Praz\u00e1k, Lindsay, Endellion, Jerusalem, Ysa\u00ffe and Parisii, and with the DSCH \u2013 Schostakovich Ensemble.\nHis recording of Brahms Quintet with the Talich Quartet is recognized nowadays as a reference. Pascal Moragu\u00e8s is frequently invited to festivals such as Montreux, la Roque d'Antheron, Divonne, la Grange de Meslay and P\u00e9rigord Noir, and also during the Paris chamber music season. He gives numerous concerts and Masterclasses abroad, especially in Japan, United States, Australia and throughout Europe.\nPascal Moragu\u00e8s has made many recordings with great musicians, such as Sviatoslav Richter, Viktoria Mullova and Quintet Moragu\u00e8s, receiving several international awards.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
