Violinist and conductor Mario Hossen is considered one of the leading interpreters of Paganini\u2019s music. As a soloist, Hossen has performed with renowned orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra della Scala di Milano, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, English Chamber Orchestra, Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra in Moscow, among many others.\nHailed for his incredible virtuosity and charismatic stage presence, he plays a repertoire all the way from Renaissance to Classical music and to contemporary works and jazz.\nHe holds several prestigious awards, among them the City of Sofia, Musician of the Year award. The oldest Bulgarian Music Festival, \u201cVarna Summer International Music Festival\u201d (1926), under his artistic direction, received a prize from the European Festival Association.\nHossen\u2018s musicological and artistic endeavors are focused among other things on source research on Paganini. He edited the complete oeuvre of Paganini for solo violin and for violin with orchestra which is available as a historical-critical edition by Doblinger.\nHossen recorded several acclaimed albums with the world premi\u00e8re recordings of the most famous pieces by Paganini in their original version, edited by the leading Italian CD Label \u201cDynamic\u201d.\nHis most recent recording releases include Beethoven\u2019s complete violin sonatas, Paganini and Bruch violin concertos and Bach sonatas for violin and harpsichord, recorded together with Barbareschi.\nAs a soloist conductor, he leads the Vienna Chamber Orchestra in the concert series \u201cConcert Spirituel\u201d in Vienna.\nHossen plays a G.B. Guadagnini violin (1749), which is loaned to him by the Austrian National Bank.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
