Ensemble Tra Noi is an ensemble consisting of transverse flute, baroque violin, viola da gamba, and harpsichord, combining historically informed performance practice with a spirit of experimentation and innovation.
The ensemble's members are experts in early music but are deeply involved in contemporary works, creating programs that bridge centuries through creative juxtapositions, contemporary pieces, and bold concert formats.
The Ensemble Tra Noi approach is driven by the desire to make early music resonate with today’s audiences, offering concerts that are both intellectually rigorous and emotionally captivating.
The ensemble has received significant international recognition, winning several prestigious awards. In 2024, it won First Prize at the prestigious Concours International de Musique Ancienne du Val de Loire and was awarded the Audience Prize at the Händel Göttingen Competition. In 2023, the ensemble was honored with the Wiener Konzerthaus Prize at the H.I.F. Biber Competition and the Audience Prize at the Biagio Marini Competition.
The Ensemble Tra Noi has performed at some of Europe’s most important early music festivals, including Resonanzen at the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik, and FEL!X Originalklang at the Kölner Philharmonie, among others.
