Roman Fediurko

Born in Kyjiv, Ukraine, Roman entered Children’s Music School No. 21 in Kyjiv at the age of 5, in the class of Ghalyna Kotsjuba. Roman is a Laureate and a Scholar of New Names of Ukraine program by the Ukrainian Foundation of Culture.
Born in Kyjiv, Ukraine, Roman entered Children’s Music School No. 21 in Kyjiv at the age of 5, in the class of Ghalyna Kotsjuba. Roman is a Laureate and a Scholar of New Names of Ukraine program by the Ukrainian Foundation of Culture. He is also a scholar of the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein. In 2021, he received the Scholarship for young artists of the President of Ukraine. Roman is now studying under Prof. Dr. Milana Chernyavska at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria). 
Actualmente, Roman está a estudar sob a orientação da Professora Milana Chernyavska na Universidade de Música e Artes Performativas de Graz (Áustria).
He has won prizes at many international piano competitions, the latest being the 1st Prize at the 10th Yamaha USASU International Senior Piano Competition in Tempe, Arizona, USA (2023), the 1st Prize at the Robert Schumann Competition Düsseldorf for Young Pianists in Düsseldorf, Germany (2023), and the 1st Prize and the Gold Medal of the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz Kyjiv-Geneva in Geneva, Switzerland (2023).
Roman has appeared on the stages of Salle Cortot in Paris, France; Gustav Mahler Hall in Toblach, Italy; Kammermusiksaal of the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, Germany; Vortragssaal of the Kunsthaus Zürich in Zürich, Switzerland; Robert-Schumann-Saal in Düsseldorf, Germany, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Switzerland; Villa Senar in Hertenstein, Switzerland; Aram Concert Hall in Goyang, South Korea, and countless others.
Roman regularly appears as soloist with renowned orchestras, such as the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kölner Kammerorchester, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia (OSRM), the North-Bohemian State Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Târgu Mureş State Philharmonic Orchestra, working with conductors such as Kirill Karabits, Hun-Joung Lim, Salvador Brotons, Christoph Poppen, Moritz Gnann, Jascha von der Goltz, and many others.
Forthcoming highlights include recital debuts in Utrecht, at the Busoni Festival, in the Elbphilharmonie as part of a three-city tour in Hannover, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg by Steinway Prizewinner Concerts Network, and many more.
